You might need to redo Step 5 every time you open up RetroArch, and that might be a bug that needs to be fixed, or someone could just write a script that does that automatically. RetroArch will close and then reopen in full screen, and then the Pro Controller should be working. Scroll down until you see "Nintendo_Switch_Pro_Controller.cfg", and then select it by pressing enter. Here there is a ton of different controllers configuration files, all of which are CFG files, sorted in alphabetical order. Click "Parent Directory" and then you will be in the RetroArch folder. By default it will show two folders, "record" and "remaps". Step 5: In RetroArch, go to Main Menu then Configuration File then Load Configuration. Step 4: After the controller is paired and connected to your computer via Bluetooth, open up RetroArch and test out the controls. After it's paired and connected, the four lights might keep blinking, but disregard this as the controller will still work fine either way. Step 3: While the 4 lights on the bottom of the controller are blinking, go back to your computer and wait until you see a device pop up in the Bluetooth settings named "Pro Controller". Use your fingernail or something small enough to press and hold the larger button. One of them is tiny and the other one is a bit larger. Step 2: On the Pro Controller, there are two circular buttons on each side of the charging port. Step 1: Go to your computer's Bluetooth settings and make your computer discoverable. This is how I got it connected to my PC and fixed my problem where none of the controls would work when you try to use it with RetroArch after connecting it. I don't mind editing the database, I just don't know where it's located. Uses a file as a database, kinda a pain to adjust but will work as the GUI will only do keyboard remapping I was just under the impression that I can add new configs temporarily to PAD.ini / OnePad2.ini. I did find the database on this repo, and it doesn't appear to contain a line for 03000000000000000000000000006800, but I'd happily add it and adjust if I knew where the DB is located. I've been adding exactly this line to both PAD.ini and OnePad2.ini: I actually don't know where the database file is located, but I'd happily do that. They're trying to edit the controller setting via the database and it's not changing. Linux (64bit) - Specify Distro Below If Linux - Specify Distro I expected the line I added to my configs to achieve that. Expected Behaviorīottom button is X, right button is O, top button is Triangle, left button is Square. Try to use a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller with PCSX2. However this edit in reality actually does nothing. Should clearly swap the A/B and X/Y buttons, fixing my issue. I noticed PAD.ini has a mouse_sensitivity param which is definitely getting r/w from as the emulator runs. Following other issues on here, I read I should be editing either PAD.ini or OnePAD2.ini, it's extremely unclear what these 2 files do, as they're identical. ![]() Switch controller defaults to having X and O swapped, as well as Triangle and Square are also swapped. ![]()
